About Us
Two years ago we started the Little Italy Foundation, a non-profit to help preserve the history and culture of the Italian Americans.
Within the past two years we have grown with focusing on our project for Little Italy DSM and have now added a more broader focus for Little Italy Midwest.
Our goal in developing a strong Italian American culture goes beyond our local enclaves and for our communities to reach out for growth and recognition.
It is important to us to push the boundaries of what has been to what is needed for our culture to survive. In doing so our focus missions are:
Building communities for our younger generations
Create a cultural exchange regionally and with Italy
Take a stance on comunity affairs, history and the rights of Italian Americans
Preserve the history of our people, to educate our community and raise public awareness
